before bed last night i told everyone in the house to pick a room and spend 10 minutes cleaning it. this enlightening exchange followed.
mia (excitedly): mom, who's coming over!?
me: no one honey.
mia (confused): oh.
sad, my kids think the only time i clean is when we're expecting company, but true.

That is way too funny, Marisa!!Don't you just LOVE their simplicity and honesty??? "Out of the mouths of babes"! I could just picture Mia being confused. I LONG to be your cleaning lady some day when you need a break. Need to practice in my OWN house now that I'm doing those cabinets. I don't know that I might have bitten off more than I can chew, but I've got to plug along to the finish line now that I have removed ALL the cabinets and drawers!!!! Just have to keep VISUALIZING the end result. Hey, have a great day. Kiss those precious kids for me.
