the resident handyman installing baseboards with his new favorite toy (courtesy of grandpa- thank you!). nothing says brian quite like a loud air powered machine that shoots nails.
after
this room, like the rest of the house, has been a community effort. the pretty picture was a house warming gift from my friend kim, thank you. brian re-tiled the fireplace & installed new baseboards, love you! tiff spent her summer break moving boxes, unpacking boxes, assembling ikea furniture, hanging curtain rods, painting, and keeping her little sister sane, thank you. jim drove up after putting in his twelve hours on the job and laid flooring with brian, thank you.

Wow! The baseboards look really good. Well, everything looks good, but the baseboards are what I haven't seen. And I love your fireplace fence. It's perfect. You're making me want to do a bunch of stuff to my house--which is dangerous.
Wow! What a transformation!!! Beautiful, beautiful work! Isn't it FUN knowing that you are doing it yourself, with the help of the wonderful sister and close friends who LOVE you???? I have GOT to get up there to see you guys! I feel the same way you do Tiffany---only it makes me feel like I need to CONTINUE all the unfininshed projects in my house!!
