i subscribe to lots of great blogs. one of them regularly writes off list promps, her latest was 'things i'd like to tell my 17 year-old self.' her list has kept my mind churning about all the things i'd like to tell my younger self.
not my 17 year-old self, more like my pre-teen/early teen self. by 17 the continents of my life were already shifting, starting to take there permanent shape. this list was an interesting exercise. it made me sad for my teenage self, content with my current self, and curious what my future self will have to say.

WOW... I love it. it was so honest, and interesting:) Love your so much!
PS I dont know why, but I am a sucker for inner thought- may it be my own or someone else.
THanks!

While I publicly disparage introspection (I'm just not a fan of my many, oh-so-many, flaws) I should admit that privately I'm a huge list-maker of similar "I wish I would have known" lists.
It really does make you wonder what you'll be saying 10 years from now, doesn't it?
What can I say, you are so open and not afraid to be venerable and you always, always make me cry. Your dad would be very proud of the woman, mother and wife you have become, as I am. I love and miss all of you soooo much. Mom
