she writes with curlicues and does achieve

 

miss mia got an award this week 'honoring writing achievement.' mia's writing does achieve, less grammatically, more creatively. she dots with hearts and embellishes with curlicues (and i can't bring myself to correct her- sorry mrs. c). she was given a certificate along with a copy of the school's writing anthology containing her story, 'the lovely unicorn.' pretty cool beans.

for my anthology, i have selected a quote from brian's father's day card where mia wrote, 'we love you so much. your house is carved with anjls.'
