the best $10 i've ever spent
three kids and a theme park is not usually my idea of good times, but one of brian's customers gave him four tickets to knott's as a generous 'thank you' for some of the work he had done. we put the tickets to good use last weekend. the kids loved the rides in camp snoopy, but as you can see, they weren't too fond of the gigantic free falling log ride. miley's face is hidden behind brian, but i have no doubt she wore the same look of terror as her siblings. my uncontrollable screaming probably didn't help.this could get me dragged through the streets of orange county, but i'm going to say it anyway. knott's is so much better than disneyland. we went on a weekend prepared for nasty crowds, but didn't find any. 20 minutes was the longest we had to wait for anything. the kids stood in line less than 5 minutes to meet snoopy, compared to the hours it takes to snap a picture with a princess. i'm not sure i want my girls idolizing the disney princesses anyway, but that's a post for another day.

the day was marked with lots of smiles and (of course) a few tantrums.
the friendliest family waited for the log ride with us. we shared the snacks we'd snuck in and they offered to take our picture. can you tell it was hot? hot, but fun!

That picture is hilarious!!!! Mia's face is worth more than a thousand words. I love the leash (people who balk, don't have boys!) and the pic of the superstars with Snoopy is adorable. Looks like a good time!!!!

I'm so glad that you guys had fun! You guys are such a cute family. But I have to get myself off the floor still, I cannot believe that you went to a theme park. Impressive, Marisa is a softy. Glad you guys had fun.
