youer than you

the girl's school threw a big shin-dig to celebrate dr. seuss' birthday today. the second grade preformed a 'read to kids day' poem at the assembly, so i went to watch miss mia. the pto president spotted me and asked if i could take pictures for the yearbook and read my favorite seuss (mr. brown can moo) to a few classes- hell ya!

i've been trying to figure out what i want to be when i grow up. i keep second guessing teaching. but being in the school environment today, surrounded by all those kids, and all that learning, made me me-er than me. i didn't want to leave.

happy birthday doc- thanks for my favorite quote, all the awesome books, and that fabulous hat.

miley (embarrassed that mom is at school)

That little girl is the cutest thing ever! You're such a good mommy. All I ever did for my kids school was cuss out another mom in the parking lot. My poor children...

You look at home in the classroom with all the kids. I think you've found your place.

It's a good thing there are people in the world who like kids. You're balancing out the rest of us who don't really care for them...at least in large hordes.

BRIGHT, BOLD & BEAUTIFUL, your dad was right on. I am so proud that both of my daughters have made such a huge positive influence on so many young people. You do look at home in the classroom.Luv to the sky, mom

Risa, Is Mandenca Downs or Asian or both? She is adorable. I am so glad I have Katrice to keep me company for the rest of my life, she too is also adorable. Mom
