and it was fun.

it was a crazytown graduation/finals/race weekend. brian took mia to the race saturday for some much needed daddy-daughter time. i stayed behind with the babies to finish a ridiculously long term paper.

when miley and levi woke that morning, daddy and daughter were long gone. they never asked where their big sister was. they probably assumed it was a school/work/business as usual kind of day.

i tied myself to the office chair while the babies enjoyed a day of cookie dough, otter pops, and disney movies. as i was getting them ready for bed that night, miley jumped up in a panic- "we forgot to get mia from school!"

after containing my laughter, i explained that mia had been at the race with dad the entire time. to calm the ensuing riot, i promised that we would all go to the races together sunday. which we did. and it was fun.
