spring time in socal manifests itself in heat and yellow flower fields. these mustard seed blooms cover hillsides all over the place. chelz & i took to the hills this weekend with a gaggle of cute kiddos and a camera to soak up the scenery.
while the kids occupied themselves collecting snails and other sorts of nastiness, her fancy camera was busy trading hands. i don't have copies of everything we took, so please hop on over to her blog to see my favorite shot (its at the top- you can't miss it).
we had a blast. how lucky am i to have such a talented/cute/funny/generous/loving friend.

These pics are BEAUTIFUL!!!! It is so amazing that you have Chelsea to help capture this time with your kids in such a precious way that no one but a good friend who knows all of you could. I am green with envy. I esp. love the pics of you in the grass (could you be more beautiful!?) and Levi running. Perfect!
Fabulous pictures!! You look gorgeous and the kids are fancy free.
What a great afternoon!
Those snails are SO GROSS! I can't believe how daring the girls are. Love the pictures. I can feel a new banner in the works. :)
What great pictures!!! How delightful is the wonderful friendship you enjoy with your friend and her children. You are one lucky lady!! Love you, Grandma C.
Love these pics! You are so blessed to have such a beautiful family! I love u!
risa, oh my gosh, I look at these pictures and I cannot believe what a beautiful family you and Brian have produced. The snails are in Mia's hands right? So like her and Levi running is terrific, Miley watching the swim lesson and breathing a sigh of relief that she does not have to get in the water is perfect. Last but not least the picture of you in the grass, I am amazed at what beautiful children your father and I produced, you are so beautiful as is John, Tiff and Katrice. I am the luckiest mother and grandmother in the world, thank you for sharing and I still think you should consider writing a book, you are so articulate. love you loads, mom
